Please pray for our family. We are having some issues and we are praying about how to resolve them.
I told our Adoption Support Group leader last night that adoption is one of the hardest things I have done in my life. Another adoptive mom was sitting there and totally agreed.
Adoption can mess up prior friendships for us as well as our children. They are "pitting" one child in our family against the other. I will defend both children. I love them dearly. Neither child is perfect and I have never claimed they are. We evaluate each situation as it arises.
Please pray for clarity.
Prayers. Yes, indeed, adoption is the hardest thing I have ever done. I have to agree. Sounds like a tough trial. Prayers for your family. Keep us updated.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for this trial. We have our two youngest 10 months apart and it took years for the dust to settle from their older bio sister leaving for RTC until their issues came out. More years until I completely separated them and one began to heal and one became worse. But things are better, not "fixed" but better. If you need to talk send me an email. It's on my side bar.
